The AFE5832LPZAV is a highly integrated analog front-end (AFE) solution specially designed for portable ultrasound systems, offering exceptional performance, low power consumption, and a compact form factor. Its multichip module (MCM) design consists of a VCA die with 32 channels and an ADC die with 16 channels, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality conversion. The VCA channels can be configured in time-gain-compensation (TGC) mode or continuous wave (CW) mode, providing flexibility for various ultrasound applications. The ADC supports configurable resolutions of 12 bits or 10 bits and achieves maximum speeds of 80 MSPS and 100 MSPS at 12-bit and 10-bit resolution, respectively, addressing diverse system needs. The low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) output interface enables easy integration with low-cost field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), enhancing overall system performance. Packaged in a 15 mm × 15 mm 289-pin NFBGA package, the AFE5832LPZAV offers a very low-power solution suitable for applications with strict battery-life requirements, making it an ideal choice for modern portable ultrasound systems
