Hot-insertion applications are supported through the Ioff circuitry, which disables outputs when the device is powered down to prevent current flow. Additionally, the power-up 3-state feature ensures that outputs enter a high-impedance state during power fluctuations, minimizing the risk of driver conflicts. Pullup resistors are recommended to maintain the high-impedance state above 1.5V, with appropriate resistor values based on driver current-sinking capabilities
