The UCC38084PW, part of the UCC38083/4/5/6 PWM controller family, is an advanced solution for dc-to-dc or off-line fixed-frequency current-mode switching power supplies. Its push-pull topology and dual output stages ensure efficient operation, with outputs switching at half the oscillator frequency using a toggle flip-flop. The device also includes a programmable slope compensation ramp to the CS signal and an internal discharge transistor to minimize filter capacitor values and current sense delay. With a typical soft-start interval time of 3.5 ms, the UCC38084PW offers versatile performance for various applications. Additionally, the turn on/off thresholds set the device apart, with thresholds of 4.3 V / 4.1 V, making it suitable for specific requirements. Each UCC3808x device is available in 8-pin TSSOP (PW), 8-pin SOIC (D), and 8-pin PDIP (P) packages, providing flexibility in design and implementation
