Overview of UCC27424DGN
The UCC27424DGN is a high-speed dual MOSFET driver that offers three logic options - dual-inverting, dual-noninverting, and one-inverting/noninverting driver. Its thermally enhanced PowerPAD™ MSOP package ensures improved long-term reliability by lowering thermal resistance. With a design that minimizes shoot-through current, this driver can deliver 4A of current during MOSFET switching transitions, particularly in the Miller plateau region. The unique BiPolar and MOSFET hybrid output stage allows for efficient current sourcing and sinking, even at low supply voltages. Additionally, the UCC2742x features enable functions (ENBA and ENBB) on pins 1 and 8, providing better control over driver applications. These pins are internally pulled up to V_DD for active high logic, but can also be left open for standard operation
