It operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 60V and can deliver up to 2A of output current.The MIC2172YM features a synchronous rectifier topology with internal N-channel MOSFETs, which helps to achieve high efficiency at light loads and low output voltages. It also includes a fixed frequency peak current mode control architecture, which provides fast transient response and accurate output voltage regulation.Other key features of the MIC2172YM include a programmable soft-start function, input undervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown protection, and current limit protection. It is available in a compact 16-pin SOIC package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
