ICM-20648

The ICM-20648 is a high-performance, 6-axis MotionTracking device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer in a single chip. It is designed for use in applications such as drones, robotics, virtual reality headsets, and other motion-based devices requiring precise motion sensing capabilities. The gyroscope provides accurate angular velocity measurements, while the accelerometer measures acceleration in all three axes. The fusion of data from both sensors allows for accurate motion tracking and orientation estimation, enabling applications to accurately determine position and movement in 3D space.The ICM-20648 offers up to 16-bits of resolution for both the gyroscope and accelerometer, providing precise measurement capabilities. It also features programmable gyroscope full-scale range up to ±250 dps, and accelerometer full-scale range up to ±16 g, allowing for customization based on the specific needs of the application.In addition, the ICM-20648 includes advanced digital motion processing capabilities, such as sensor fusion algorithms, 9-axis sensor fusion, and customizable sensor timing.
