The CC3100 Wi-Fi network processor subsystem features an industry-leading Wi-Fi Internet-on-a-Chip solution that offloads the host MCU's tasks. This powerful platform includes an 802.11 b/g/n radio, baseband, and MAC with a fast and secure crypto engine for 256-bit encryption. The device supports multiple modes, including Station, Access Point, and Wi-Fi Direct, as well as WPA2 personal and enterprise security and WPS 2.0. Additionally, the platform includes embedded TCP/IP and TLS/SSL stacks, HTTP server, and multiple Internet protocols, making it an ideal solution for IoT applications
