The ADF7021-NBCPZ is a highly integrated, low power transceiver IC designed for use in narrowband RF applications in the sub-GHz frequency range. It incorporates a direct conversion receiver, a direct modulation transmitter, and an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The ADF7021-NBCPZ operates in the 160 MHz to 1620 MHz frequency range and offers programmable frequency deviation, data rate, and modulation schemes. It features a programmable digital RSSI and automatic gain control (AGC) for improved receiver sensitivity and dynamic range. The transceiver also includes a power amplifier with programmable output power up to +16 dBm.With a low power consumption of 13 mA in receive mode and 28 mA in transmit mode, the ADF7021-NBCPZ is suitable for battery-operated applications. It is housed in a compact 48-lead LFCSP package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.
